The 4th European Science Café of ENEC Cost Action was a great success! The 4th European Science Café of ENEC Cost Action: Education for Environmental Citizenship took place at the University of Banja Luka.

Format: World Café

Participants: Invited stakeholders were teachers from all levels of education (preschool, primary and secondary school, university), government representatives, local authorities, environmental NGOs, high school and university students.

Description: After a short introduction participants were divided into four groups and worked according to the World Café format on the subject of Education for Environmental Citizenship. Most prevalent output was that there is a great need for introduction of the new ways of teaching children of all ages how to become an environmentally responsible citizen and some recommendations have been made. Promotional material with ENEC and COST logos (notebooks, pens, attendance certificates and ENEC brochures) were given out to each participant.
