Objective: Discussion about the “The importance of Environmental Citizenship”, during which it was held the opening of the photo exhibition and the awards ceremony of the photo contest “Cyprus: Natural Landscapes, Land and Sea” proclaimed by CY.C.E.R.E. and CPS (Lemesos Branch).

Description: Café Scientific of ENEC aims to demystify scientific research for the general public and empower non-scientists to more comfortably and accurately assess science and technology issues related to ENEC Cost Action, particularly those that impact on social policy making. Café Scientific of ENEC is to make science relevant, powerful and important, addressing topics such as Environmental Citizenship, Education for Environmental Citizenship and Environmental
Citizen. Cafés Scientific of ENEC are assumed to engage and address their local culture in each country.
Output(s):
- Demystify scientific research for the general public.
- Empower non-scientists to more comfortably and accurately assess science and technology issues related to ENEC Cost Action.
- Make science relevant, powerful and important, addressing topics such as Environmental Citizenship, Education for Environmental Citizenship and Environmental Citizen.
- Engage and address the local culture in each country.
Goal(s) addressed:
- Enhance Collaborations on Environmental Citizenship across Europe.
- Improve conceptualization of Environmental Citizenship in participating countries.
- Acting as a stakeholder platform for knowledge exchange.
- Stakeholders involvement (researchers and scholars, teachers, policy officials,NGOs, public authorities, national and local governments etc.) in Environmental Citizenship.
